Its Here!

My husband and mother in Law ordered this for me for Christmas - EQ6 - a quilt designing program. I was so excited to get my hands on it but Christmas came and went and it never arrived. So I had to continue with my graph paper book to make my patterns. Apparently it had been sent and someone signed for it, but I have no idea who, it wasn't us. So the company kindly sent another one and it arrived yesterday!! I'm about to install it and I'm so excited about the possiblities with this program. I'm sure I'll still use my graph paper, but it will be nice see how my patterns will look before I sew them up. I've already started studying the manual.

  2. I was going to ask for that for Christmas, but then I forgot and asked for an expensive Julia Child's cooking class instead. I want to hear more about it as you experiment.

  5. thats great Kate., I am still using graph paper as well.. :( but hey thats ok.. I cant wait to hear how it goes for you though.. just a quick question.. how big is your pinwheel quilt.. Im in the process of designing one now and im thinking that a single bed will be huge.. might stick with a lap size?
    Have a great sunday!

  6. Wow, that husband must have been a pretty awesome guy for buying you that program. That's all I can say - a true pillar of strength and generosity - and a thoughtful gift giver too! What a find Kate (on the husband), well done! Maybe you should give him a really special thankyou...

  8. Hi Ally,
I'm not sure what the overall size is, but I started with 4.5 inch squares for the pinwheels and the 3 borders are 2 inches each. It would be approx 50" by 64" I think

  9. Just wondering if eBay permits you to market concert tickets on the net? Do you know if you'll find any restrictions based on what country you're in?

My parents have just known as me and asked if i could "get rid" of their two tickets to some concert as they wont be able to make it due to one more family event.

Apart from asking close friends etc, i thought ebay would be a great location to sell them.

But whats ebay's policy on promoting tickets? Ive heard alot about it about the news but ive forgotten what happened.

and if it matters, the concert is within this coming month

Thanks ahead of time for your advice.
